Laissez faire, laissez passer.

About This Quote

Laissez faire, laissez passer. The French phrase "laissez faire" means "let it be." It is the term used to denote the attitude of letting things, people and events take their course without interference. At first glance, this may seem like a good policy to adopt. However, there is a dark side. Laissez faire can be used as a tool to let bad things happen and not stop them from happening – and we all know what happens when we try to stop something we should let happen.
